Back in London - 8th August 2017

Our trip back to London was surprisingly pleasant. We called a cab to take us to Reading Station (near Henley and the most direct route to London by train). When we hopped in and the driver asked us our ultimate destination, he offered to drive us all the way to London. "Um, OK... Any chance of a cappuccino with that?" says I.  "Sure, I'll shout you a coffee" says he. Gotta be happy with that!

Gorgeous flowerboxes outside the hotel. A tiny, basic, clean hotel in Swinton Street.

Outside our hotel window.  Why do people say the sky isn't blue in London?

Brekky at an artisan bakers, "Aux Pain de Papy" on Grays Inn Road. C'est delicieux.

Another 9pm sky.
