If you need an excuse to go to Oxford, we had a good one. We booked tickets to see The Proclaimers. Yes, The ‘Sunshine on Leith’ Proclaimers. Or in this case, The ‘Angry Cyclist’ Proclaimers. They toured to promote their new album and the funny thing was, that they went all the way to Sydney before they toured the UK !
But as if you need an excuse to go to one of the most beautiful places in England. I don’t have much to say about our trip and will let the photos do most of the work for me. Suffice to say, we walked a lot, we hired bikes (the best day ever), visited Annie Sloane’s shop, witnessed the Proclaimers afternoon sound-check, and ate very well.
Oxford is such a beautiful city and the surrounding countryside makes me feel like I can breathe again after the claustrophic city-scape of our London life. May I stay here please?
